Genesis 15:2-6 2But Abram said, “O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inheritc my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”
4Then the word of the LORD came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir.” 5He took him outside and said, “Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
6Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
We need to be patient in asking for the blessing from the Lord. Abraham is a man of faith, here wife Sara had borne him no children. But by the faith of Abraham in God, in the right time the Blessing come into their life and that is Isaac. Even by the year of 100 years old Sara become pregnant. Glory to God.
Some of us have no patient to wait for the blessing of the Lord. They are always ask for an instant. There is no impossible to God but the Lord need patient and sincerity from us. The Lord test our faith, test our believe and test our heart. All we have to do is to continue obeying God wants, righteousness, love other people and believe to Him. Remember that the blessing of the Lord is always on time, not advance or even late.
