Short version: I was robbed inside an FX along Kalayaan avenue last night.

Long version:
I got off work at around 6:30pm yesterday and was able to ride an FX right away along Valero. I sat on the front beside the driver and it only took a few moments for the FX to get full. On my right was a woman (and possible accomplice) whom I noticed was texting heavily using her iPhone 4/4S (she also has an iPod Touch as I observed). She paid the driver and told him she’ll get off at Kalayaan though she didn’t specify exactly where along Kalayaan but still, this is acceptable and drivers usually just charge 20 pesos.

The traffic was very heavy and it took about 40 minutes to reach Kalayaan. The woman beside me suddenly told the driver to stop as she will get off (instead of telling the driver in advance that you’ll be getting off soon). She got off as well as another person on the middle part of the FX. Very few meters later, 2 men hailed the FX, one sat on the front beside me and the other in the middle which was just vacated. They both paid the driver and when asked where they’ll be getting off, they said “d’yan lang”. The man beside me was a little uneasy and kept on texting. Moments later, he got a call and only kept on saying “sige”, “oo”, or “o sige” on the phone (possibly talking to the woman previously beside me).

When we got past the Kalayaan market (this part of Kalayaan is the dimmest), he pulled his switchblade and told me some gibberish (it was tagalog, but I couldn’t understand because I was weighing my options) and the man on the middle part spoke even more gibberish too, though it was clear that they were declaring a robbery. Some parts I understood were they were telling the driver “hindi ka kasama, iderecho mo lang”. He took my phone and, not knowing what it is, my external harddisk as well (if you know me, then you know that these are the only 2 things I bring in the office…no bags/wallets/extra money whatsoever). I could live with it, but the worst came and he asked for my ring, too…my wedding ring. I told him I can’t give it to him so he threatened to stab me on the forehead and took the ring. He inspected my coin purse but didn’t find any money, so he chucked it beside me (yes, I only bring the exact amount of money I’ll spend for the workday – Php 180). He started checking all my other pockets but decided that my cables and my pen were not worth taking.

Note that they only robbed me – the one trapped in the front – and no one else. I don’t know if the accomplice in the middle has a weapon too, but I decided not to fight back in that cramped space and risk it. Besides, my wife and soon-to-be-born baby girl was waiting for me at home. Anyways, at this point, he told me to pretend nothing is happening or (again) he’ll stab me on the forehead. He told the driver to stop when we were near an overpass in Kalayaan and both of them fled.

More rant:
Not one, not even one policeman is stationed in Kalayaan. I don’t even think there’s a police station there (or if there was, it’s freaking useless). Anyways, I have already been in this situation twice, this instance being the third time. (I was able to fight off the robbers on my first two encounters, but due to the cramped FX space and uncertainty behind me, I was not able to fight back this time.) What was conclusive is that robbers always say “D’YAN LANG” when asked where they’ll get off. This is true for all 3 of my encounters with these low-life ba******, so be alert when someone says this.

If there’s unusual stuff happening inside a public utility vehicle, get off immediately where safe (like in a bright area or where there are lots of people).

Even more rant:
What I lost was my developer (and personal) phone. My sideline work as an app developer will suffer due to this incident. The phone doesn’t have a pattern lock or PIN so development would be convenient for me, but as a consequence they’ll have free access to whatever was inside my phone (assuming they were smart enough to use it).

Next is my external harddisk, where most of the favors I give you guys come from (OS installation and other software). Aside from that, some of my recent documents and pictures which I haven’t backed up yet were there too.

For the worst, they took my wedding ring! They’ll pay for this. Yes, aside from being a tech enthusiast, I am also a vigilante wannabe. In fact, I despise crime and corruption so much that I am willing to sacrifice just to kill off evil in this world.

I remember the guy beside me stupidly inspecting my phone when he took it (because there were no buttons). This could have been an opening for an attack, but oh well. I also regret that I was not able to take a cue when they said “d’yan lang” where normally I would have been alerted. I always get off whenever there are weird things happening inside a PUV, but I guess I was too busy thinking about dinner and my family this time. Binaha na nga, naholdap pa! Sana wag din nila gamitin yung docs and pictures na nasa harddisk ko, baka gamitin pa nila identity ko.

Additional suggestion: DON’T WEAR EAR PHONES OR LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE IN A PUV. This will keep you alert on what’s happening around you.

Please forward to others so they may be warned about this incident. It seems that there were numerous reports about Kalayaan robberies lately. Stay safe guys!

Transformation
Judges 6:11-16; 7:15-22

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is...."
(ROMANS 12:2)

When the Lord appeared to Gideon, proclaiming him a "mighty warrior," the young man reacted with excuses. He lacked confidence, power, and status. The Lord told him to go save His people from the Midianites - didn't He see Gideon hiding in the winepress in fear?

Yet the Lord promised to be with him, and Gideon made up his mind to believe and obey. It became a step-by-step process of God speaking and Gideon questioningly obeying. By the time Gideon actually led his army against Midian, he was expecting and received a miracle. But when the dust of the battle settled, the most astonishing miracle was the change in Gideon. The Holy Spirit had re-created him into a confident and powerful military leader and commander, a resourceful diplomat (Judges 8:1-2), and a respected, yet humble servant of God (Judges 8:22-23).

What kind of transformation is God seeking to perform in you, through His Spirit and your obedience? He does His greatest transforming work right in our hearts when we know Jesus as our Savior.

New International Version (NIV)
11 The angel of the Lord came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. 12 When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior. ”
13 “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”
14 The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
15 “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family. ”
16 The Lord answered, “I will be with you , and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”

Judges 7:15-22
New International Version (NIV)
15 When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.” 16 Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside.
17 “Watch me,” he told them. “Follow my lead. When I get to the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do. 18 When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, then from all around the camp blow yours and shout, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon.’”
19 Gideon and the hundred men with him reached the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guard. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars that were in their hands. 20 The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled.
22 When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords. The army fled to Beth Shittah toward Zererah as far as the border of Abel Meholah near Tabbath.

About Face
Acts 26:9-23

"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
(PSALM 51:10)

You've heard of an "aha!" moment, that instant when something stops a person and makes him reassess and possibly change directions.

Saul, following in his father's footsteps, was the quintessential Pharisee, describing himself as "a Hebrew of Hebrews," born into the tribe of Benjamin, circumcised on the eighth day, faultless in following the Law (Philippians 3:4-6). With these credentials, he was passionate about trying to eradicate the new church of Jesus.

But God had other plans for Saul. From birth, God "set Saul apart" (Galatians 1:15) as His "chosen instrument" (Acts 9:15) to bring the message of salvation to the non-Jewish world. God literally stopped Saul in his tracks and turned him around, 180 degrees.

Just as with Saul, God intervenes in our self-directed lives today revealing the love of Jesus, and offering us new life. Then we, like Saul, become a new creation, on a new path, in a new direction, led by Him. The "aha!" moment becomes an "aha!" life which marvels at Jesus' hold on us.

On the authority of the chief priests I put many of the Lord’s people in prison, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them. 11 Many a time I went from one synagogue to another to have them punished, and I tried to force them to blaspheme. I was so obsessed with persecuting them that I even hunted them down in foreign cities.
12 “On one of these journeys I was going to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests. 13 About noon, King Agrippa, as I was on the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, blazing around me and my companions. 14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic,[a] ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
15 “Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’
“ ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord replied. 16 ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. 17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
19 “So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven. 20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. 21 That is why some Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me. 22 But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen — 23 that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

Living for the Kingdom

Esther 6:1-11

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
(ROMANS 8:28)

On a recent car trip, the highway I traveled became enveloped in dense fog. I prayed for safety and discernment along the nearly invisible road. Mordecai may have felt he was in a fog too - perhaps he prayed the same prayer, listening to assassins plotting the king's death. Loyal to Persia and its king, he reported the conspiracy, saving the king's life.

From this point on, the Bible story reads like the libretto for a comic opera, complete with an intrepid cast, mistaken identities, death plots, and vile villain. But this is no joke! This is the account of a historical Jewish man, displaced, yet flourishing and faithful to both his heavenly and earthly kings. Eventually, through a series of God-directed circumstances, the villain is revealed, and the Jewish people are saved.

As believers, we, too, trust God to intervene for us. We know His greatest intervention ever: sending Jesus Christ into our sinful world to save us. Our every footstep has been navigated by the Lord (see Proverbs 20:24).

Mordecai Honored
6 That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him. 2 It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes.
3 “What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?” the king asked.
“Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered.
4 The king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the palace to speak to the king about impaling Mordecai on the pole he had set up for him.
5 His attendants answered, “Haman is standing in the court.”
“Bring him in,” the king ordered.
6 When Haman entered, the king asked him, “What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?”
Now Haman thought to himself, “Who is there that the king would rather honor than me?” 7 So he answered the king, “For the man the king delights to honor, 8 have them bring a royal robe the king has worn and a horse the king has ridden, one with a royal crest placed on its head. 9 Then let the robe and horse be entrusted to one of the king’s most noble princes. Let them robe the man the king delights to honor, and lead him on the horse through the city streets, proclaiming before him, ‘This is what is done for the man the king delights to honor! ’”
10 “Go at once,” the king commanded Haman. “Get the robe and the horse and do just as you have suggested for Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king’s gate. Do not neglect anything you have recommended.”
11 So Haman got the robe and the horse. He robed Mordecai, and led him on horseback through the city streets, proclaiming before him, “This is what is done for the man the king delights to honor!”

Overcoming Fears

Esther 4:9-16

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me...."
(PSALM 23:4)

Though the orphaned Jewish girl, Esther, was raised by an important civil servant who sat at the King of Persia's palace gates daily, I doubt she ever dreamed she would live inside those palace walls. Yet through circumstances beyond her control - a royal edict - she became the king's favorite concubine, and subsequently his queen.

When a plot to kill all the Jews was discovered, she risked everything, even her life, to go before the king to request that he save them. Was it chance that placed Esther in the palace and in the favor of the king? Esther knew, though her life was not in her control, it was and always had been in the control of the God of Israel. He had placed her in this high position for just such a time to save her Jewish people. She depended on Him. He overcame her fears, and she and her people were safe.

We can trust this same God of grace who sent our Savior, Jesus. He may put us in incongruous places, but He will also calm our anxieties and our circumstances for His glory and our good.

But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king.”
12 When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, 13 he sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”

The Adventure of a Lifetime

Psalm 139:1-16

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
(JEREMIAH 29:11)

Author Matthew Kelly writes that God created people with common needs and hearts full of dreams and desires through which He calls to us. He gave all of us special abilities, too - tools for an adventure with Him. When we choose to embrace our Creator's call, each step in our journey is mapped to bring us into a closer, more intimate relationship with Him.

Do you yearn for peace and joy? Are your dreams unrealized or broken? Great! That's just the place God longs for us to reach. Then we are ready to hear Him invite us on His amazing adventure. The Bible is filled with people whose lives He used. God has plans for us today, too, plans as unique as each of us are.

Wherever you find yourself in life, I pray that these spiritual adventures of the men and woman of the Word will hearten you on your journey with Jesus. Remember, your map is in His hand. Only through Jesus Christ is the plan complete. He has your airplane revved up, ready to take off. Hop into the co-pilot's seat and say, "Let's go!"

Find Us Faithful

Revelation 2:8-11

"To the angel of the church in Smyrna...Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life."
(REVELATION 2:8, 10)

Of the seven churches of Revelation, Smyrna experienced suffering and persecution yet was faithful to God, trusting and relying on His promises. Faithfulness comes from keeping our focus on Jesus and realizing that Jesus declared, "As the Father has sent me, I am sending you" (John 20:21).

Having changed locations a number of times in ministry, we have passed on to believing friends the privilege of carrying the torch of faith. What greater honor and privilege could we have than this? Our role is to tell of the Good News concerning Jesus, to allow others to see Him and His joy in us. On our own we can't do this, but we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us. We're part of an ongoing mission taking place throughout the entire world. Until that day when we see Him again and our joy is made complete, we keep Christ at the center of our lives. "For what is our hope, our joy... in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy" (1 Thessalonians 2:19-20).

That One Lost Sheep

Luke 15:1-10

"'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.' In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
(LUKE 15:9-10)

One by one and in His providence, God is drawing people to Himself. E. Stanley Jones in his book A Song of Ascents tells of the conversion of Mr. Kurusu, Japanese Special Envoy for Peace. WW2 had taken place; Jones met with Kurusu. "Mr. Kurusu, are you a Christian?" Jones asked. "No," he said. Jones said, "Don't you want to be?" Kurusu replied, "Yes." Jones and Kurusu knelt and prayed while he submitted his life to Christ. When they met two years later in Japan, Kurusu said, "I couldn't wait! I've been baptized." Both men had tried to keep the war from happening but failed. Jones says, "God rescued out of that failure some good. For Kurusu, he found Christ. For Jones, he led others to Christ."

What joy to know that our Heavenly Father brings enemies together, binding them in Christ, and "that in all things God works for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8:28). We can rejoice today in the salvation He has given us and which He brings to people of every nationality and color around the world.

God's Love Story

Psalm 139

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
(PSALM 139:14)

We all need to be reminded of how much we are loved by God, especially when the world's cares and burdens have us feeling unloved. Psalm 139 is a great place to find that affirmation. God has created us carefully and purposefully and is very interested in every facet of our lives.

Jesus taught us that the very hairs of our head are numbered (Matthew 10:30); that as He cares for the birds of the air, the lilies and the grass of the field, He knows and cares for us even more (Matthew 6:26-34). Like any good parent, He assures us that He will provide for and care for us.

He is the great designer of our lives, knowing our special achievements and our routines, the things that surprise us, the circumstances that lead to success or drain our energy. He reminds us in Luke 15 of the celebration over a lost sheep, lost coin, or lost son when each is found. When we wander and come back to Him, He celebrates. He intensely loves us and is with us through every situation, listening as we share our heart with Him.

Deuteronomy 7:1-11

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands."
(DEUTERONOMY 7:9)

Three of us fellows with our wives were back at the Carriage Inn Restaurant. It had been more than 40 years since we had occupied a booth there during seminary where we would study and fellowship for hours and hours. Now, having returned, our discussion focused on shared memories and the stories of God's faithfulness, love and provision through the years.

It hadn't been an easy road for any of us, but God was with us, ever faithful as we confronted the challenges of life. It was also obvious that we had enjoyed the blessings of God that go in advance as we pursued our service to Him. He had prepared the way and conditioned the hearts of others whom we had ministered to. Exodus 23 reminds us how God sent His Angel in advance of His people Israel "to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared" (v. 20). Still guarding our way and leading us, our Heavenly Father is gracious, faithful, and protective, knowing our whole life picture before we have lived even one day.

Driving Out the Nations
7 When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations —the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you— 2 and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally.[a] Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. 3 Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, 4 for they will turn your sons away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you. 5 This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles[b] and burn their idols in the fire. 6 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands. 10 But
those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction;
he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.
11 Therefore, take care to follow the commands, decrees and laws I give you today.

Far-reaching Love

Romans 8:28-39

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life... nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(ROMANS 8:38-39)

Several years ago Sgt. Freeman, known as grumpy and hard to get along with, was the only officer in the police department I hadn't yet met. So through a common interest, I sought his help with a project, and we connected. In turn, I invited him to join me at my church's Easter breakfast. He confessed the last time he was in a church some 35 years earlier was after returning from his 3rd tour to Vietnam with the USN, and the pastor was critical of servicemen. He walked out and hadn't been to church since.

That Easter Sunday, he showed up with his wife and mother-in-law. We all stood together in line for breakfast and attended the worship service. Over the next years our families became close and we saw great spiritual growth in him and his wife. Eventually, they became leaders in our church... all because the "nor anything else" could not separate them from the love of God.

You can be as certain of that as Paul was. The love of God that we know through Jesus Christ reaches deeper than we can imagine.

More Than Conquerors
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died —more than that, who was raised to life —is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[c]
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[d] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Brothers in the Bread Truck

Acts 2:36-47

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
(ACTS 2:42)

The "breaking of bread" phrase in this verse reminds me of a time the Lord knit together diverse lives, making unity in Christ. It was that radical era of the 60s when another young couple, my wife and I were in Laguna Beach on a Saturday. While the girls popped into a gift shop, Gordy and I waited outside and were soon approached by three classic-looking hippies. We figured this would be a perfect time to share Jesus with some wayward fellows. Instead, they took us by the arms, ushered us into their nearby psychedelic-painted bread truck, and seated us on two benches inside. We saw a small cross, bread and wine on the table in their truck and realized we were with brothers in faith! As God had done with us, He had done with them...saved them!

The girls sure were surprised when we told them where we'd been. I still carry that joy with me today when I think of how Jesus came to seek and save the lost, people like you and me, unified by the only thing that could bring a world of people together: Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:36-47
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off —for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
The Fellowship of the Believers
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

LEADING WITH A LIMP [PART 3]

Godly leadership looks nothing like the leadership you read about in business books. It starts in a place of weakness and requires walking with a limp. The story of Jacob gives us insight.
